4 sections · 16 parameters · Best practice - no single official standard: CDC; Manufacturer instructions for use (IFU); Peer-reviewed published method; ISO/IEC 17025 clause 7.2 (method selection and validation). CDC describes fluorescent marking to evaluate whether surfaces were wiped. Marker removal does not quantify microbial contamination, disinfection efficacy or sterility. Caution: no single published official procedure was found for this method; follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and your validated laboratory SOP.
