Microscopy you can report in minutes

Guideline-driven fields for 29 stains — from Gram and ZN to Pap and H&E.

About STAINIC

One platform for every slide your laboratory reads.

STAINIC is a diagnostic laboratory stains management system for microbiology, haematology, cytology and histopathology. Each stain opens its own guideline-backed form — Nugent scoring for Gram, NTEP grading for ZN, ICSH morphology and platelet counts for Leishman, Bethesda 2014 for Pap — so technicians record exactly what the standard asks for, and calculations, critical alerts and draft impressions appear automatically.

Try any stain report below without signing in and download a polished PDF or Word file instantly. When your team is ready, sign in to the secure workspace to save cases, have consultants verify and sign them, and build research archives, Excel datasets and PowerPoint analytics from your own data.

Privacy

Patient data entered in demo pages stays in your browser and is never stored. Data saved in the signed-in workspace is kept in your laboratory's secured database, visible only to approved staff of that hospital by role; researchers see anonymised records only. The microphone is never on in the background: it switches on only when you tap a small mic icon, shows a red 'Listening' badge with a countdown and turns itself off within 12 seconds or when you stop speaking. Speech is converted to text by your phone or browser's speech service; for signed-in staff, when that is unclear, the short clip for that one box is sent to an AI speech model to be understood and is not stored by STAINIC. Microscope photos sent for AI suggestions must show only the smear, never patient identifiers. We do not sell or share personal data.

Terms of Use

STAINIC is provided to authorised laboratory professionals. You are responsible for the accuracy of entries - including anything filled by voice, OCR or AI - for keeping your login private, for sharing report links and PINs only with the patient or treating doctor, and for complying with your institution's policies and local health-data laws. Access may be revoked for misuse.

Medical & Educational Disclaimer

Guideline content, scores, pattern hints, auto-drafted impressions and AI suggestions from voice or microscope photos are decision-support and educational aids. They can be wrong and do not replace the professional judgement of a qualified pathologist or microbiologist, who must review and sign every report.

No Treatment Advice

STAINIC is a laboratory reporting tool, not a treatment website. It does not diagnose, prescribe or recommend therapy to patients. Patients should discuss results with their treating doctor.

Legal

Stain grading follows published standards (CLSI, WHO, NTEP, ICSH, Bethesda, CAP) and remains the property of their authors. OCR is approximate and must be checked. Provided "as is" without warranty; liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
